Refund Policy

Refund Policy Crystal Clear Badminton Academy (CCBA)

Effective Date: March12, 2026

All purchases are final and non-refundable. This policy ensures fair resource allocation for court bookings and instructor scheduling in downtown Toronto. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

No Refunds

Class passes and services are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:

  • Change of mind

  • No-shows

  • Dissatisfaction with sessions attended

  • Illness, injury, or personal scheduling conflicts

Rescheduling Rules

  • All rescheduling must be completed through your member account on our website at least 48 hours before your scheduled class (e.g., for a Sunday class, reschedule by Thursday 11:59pm).

  • Rescheduling limits per purchase:

  • 4-Class Package — maximum 2 reschedules per package

  • Single Class — maximum 1 reschedule

  • Tryout Class — maximum 1 reschedule

  • Late rescheduling requests made within 72 hours will forfeit the session — no credits, extensions, or make-ups will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before a scheduled class will have their session credit returned to their package

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours will forfeit their session credit with no additional fee charged

  • No monetary refunds will be issued for cancelled sessions under any circumstances

No-Show Policy

  • Missing a scheduled class without any prior notice will not get credit back

  • A no-show is defined as:

  • Failing to attend a scheduled class

  • Failing to cancel or reschedule before the class takes place

Pass Validity

  • All class credits expire on the following schedule from the date of purchase:

  • 4-Class Package — valid for 3 months

  • Single Class — valid for 1 month

  • Tryout Class — valid for 3 weeks

  • Unused sessions are forfeited without refund, transfer, or extension after the above periods, regardless of health or other circumstances.

Group Class Rules

  • A minimum number of participants is required to run each class

  • If the minimum is not met, CCBA reserves the right to cancel the session with advance notice

  • In the event of a CCBA-initiated cancellation, affected students will receive a full session credit returned to their package — no cash refunds will be issued

Payments & Chargebacks

  • All payments via Wix are final

  • Chargebacks incur a CA$50 administrative fee plus recovery costs — you must provide evidence of service delivery to dispute successfully

Mandatory Exceptions

  • Refunds or remedies apply only to legally required cases:

  • Defective services (e.g., instructor no-show)

  • Material misrepresentation of class details

  • Applicable cooling-off periods under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act

Force Majeure & Disputes

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather, venue closures, or other unforeseen events — session credits will be offered where feasible. All disputes are governed by Ontario law. Please contact us before initiating any dispute:

Policy Updates

  • Crystal Clear Badminton Academy reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy without prior notice. Customers must check the website regularly for updates.
